Fagus sylvatica ‘Cockleshell’. Narrow, upright English Beech cultivar, noted for its almost round foliage. Deep green glossy leaves are very showy against smooth grey bark. Very hardy. Deciduous. Moist, well drained soil in full sun. An excellent street tree. Slow growing. 12m x 2.5m
