Description
Metrosideros excelsa ‘Maori Princess’. Pohutukawa. Leathery leaves and gnarled trunk and branches. An iconic NZ native, prized for its profusion of brilliant scarlet flowers in summer. Best in coastal areas that only get light frosts. Very drought tolerant once established. Evergreen. 8m x 5m over 10 years.
